HUMANISING FDW BIODATA

In this project, we worked together with MOM to help potential employers find a better match with prospective Foreign Domestic Workers (FDW). We focused on humanising the biodata used by employers to evaluate potential candidates because a person’s character and personality is crucial to establishing a good working relationship, especially when both parties are living together in such close proximity,

Overview
Hiring FDWs

With Singapore's aging population, employers increasingly hire Foreign Domestic Workers (FDW) to care for their elderly loved ones. Hence, the FDW's character is the no.1 consideration for potential hires.

By humanising and personalising the information presented on the biodata, we aim to help employers understand FDWs as people, rather than commodities rated by statistics. In doing so, employers can get a glimpse of the FDW's personality and make a more informed judgment as to who will better match their caregiving needs.
